About

This tool uses the browser's built-in Canvas API to scale your image client-side, with no server involvement at any step. You can lock the aspect ratio to avoid distortion, choose from common width presets (256 px to 1920 px), or enter an exact pixel size. Because processing is entirely offline, the tool works without an internet connection and your images remain private — they are never transmitted anywhere.

How to use

  1. Drop your image onto the page or click the drop zone to select a PNG, JPG, WEBP, or GIF file.
  2. Enter the target width or height in pixels, or click a quick preset button (256 px, 500 px, 720 px, 1080 px, 1280 px, 1920 px).
  3. Toggle the lock icon to keep or break the aspect ratio — locked means changing one dimension auto-adjusts the other.
  4. Click Resize to apply — a live preview appears with the exact pixel dimensions and file size.
  5. Click Download to save the resized image to your device in the original file format.

FAQ

Is this image resizer free to use?
Yes, completely free with no limits. There is no account, subscription, or hidden cost — just open the page and start resizing.
Do my images get uploaded to a server?
No. All resizing happens inside your browser using the Canvas API. Your image is never sent to any server, and no data leaves your device.
Does the tool work offline or without an internet connection?
Yes. Once the page has loaded, the resizer works entirely offline. There are no external API calls or CDN dependencies.
Which image formats are supported?
You can load PNG, JPG, WEBP, GIF, and any other format your browser supports as an image. The output is saved in the same format as the original file.
Can I resize an image to exact pixel dimensions without distortion?
Yes. Enable the aspect ratio lock (the padlock icon) and entering one dimension auto-calculates the other to prevent stretching. You can also unlock and enter any width and height independently.
