This tool uses pdf-lib, a pure JavaScript PDF library, to stamp your chosen text across every page at the exact position, angle, and transparency you specify. Because all processing runs locally in your browser, sensitive documents — contracts, reports, confidential files — never touch any server or cloud storage. The tool also works offline once the page has loaded, making it ideal for privacy-conscious users and restricted environments.

How to use

  1. Drop your PDF onto the drop zone or click 'Choose PDF' to select a file from your device.
  2. Type your watermark text in the 'Watermark text' field (e.g. CONFIDENTIAL, DRAFT, or your company name).
  3. Adjust font size and opacity using the sliders to control how prominent the watermark appears.
  4. Pick a watermark color and set the rotation angle (0° for horizontal, 45° for diagonal — the classic look).
  5. Click 'Add Watermark & Download' to save the stamped PDF directly to your device.
